About INHP

One Family - One Neighborhood - One Community

For nearly 30 years, INHP has provided Indianapolis families a unique and comprehensive series of programs to help prepare families for homeownership and provide mortgage financing to purchase or repair a home. As the leading nonprofit homeownership resource in Indianapolis, INHP works with 3,000 families a year through financial literacy and homebuyer education classes, one-on-one homeownership advising, and lending services to help them become and remain long-term, successful homeowners who will contribute to neighborhoods across the city – ultimately improving their own quality of life and the vibrancy of the areas in which they live.

In addition to working with families, INHP partners with the City of Indianapolis, the business community, philanthropy, other nonprofits and community development organizations to implement innovative and transformational housing and neighborhood development strategies at an unprecedented scale with the goal of improving the quality of life in Marion County to retain residents and attract new residents.
